Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
1. Who we are and what this Policy covers
1.1 Controller
This Privacy Policy describes how Third Eye Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Valet”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Valet website at askvalet.ai, the dashboard, the API, and the MCP endpoint (the “Service”). We are the data controller (or “business”, under California law) for the personal information described here. Our contact details are in §13.
1.2 Who it applies to
It applies to principals (the humans and organizations who hold accounts) and to the data generated when their agents use the Service. Where an organization holds the account, this Policy applies to the personal information of its members that we process to operate the account.
1.3 What it does not cover
It does not govern the independent practices of third-party providers behind catalog services, or of the AI platform or host on which your agent runs. Those are governed by their own policies.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Account and identity
When you sign up via Google or email/password (through Firebase Authentication), we receive your email address, a user identifier, and any display name you provide. We do not receive or store your Google password. Firebase Authentication receives sign-in metadata, such as your IP address and device type, in order to authenticate you and protect your account.
2.2 Agents and configuration
For each agent you create, we store its name, description, status, budget settings, installed services, and a one-way hash of its access token (never the token itself; it is shown to you once and not retained in readable form), along with the identifier of the underlying payment account.
2.3 Wallet, payments, and transactions
We store your wallet balance, your auto top-up settings, and an append-only ledger of movements (top-ups, debits, and adjustments), each linked to the agent and request involved, plus references to payment and entitlement records. Card details are handled by Stripe (see §4); we store payment identifiers and outcomes, not card numbers.
2.4 Purchase requests, approvals, and audit
We record purchase requests your agents submit (the tool requested and the context the agent states for the request), your approval decisions, and an audit trail of significant actions (agent changes, policy changes, approvals, pauses, token rotations). The stated context is free text written by your agent; it may incidentally contain personal or other information your agent chose to include, and it is retained with the request record.
2.5 Tool-call telemetry (metadata only)
When an agent calls a tool, we record metadata about the call to operate, secure, and improve the Service: a timestamp, the service and tool name, latency, the outcome (allowed, gated, or error), the declared price and currency, how it was covered (free, budget, or entitlement), and opaque agent and principal identifiers. We do not record the arguments your agent sends or the content a service returns in this telemetry.
2.6 Inputs your agents submit
To fulfill a tool call, the inputs your agent provides (for example a location, a stock ticker, a URL, or a document to process) are sent to the relevant catalog service and, for third-party services, to the underlying provider. These inputs are processed to perform the call and are not stored by us beyond what is needed to complete it; their handling at the provider is governed by that provider’s terms and privacy practices.
2.7 Logs and technical data
Our servers generate operational logs (request metadata, errors, IP address, and user agent) used for security, debugging, and reliability.
2.8 Cookies and analytics
We use an essential authentication cookie to keep you signed in.
On askvalet.ai we also use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address (Google Analytics does not store IP addresses). How it behaves depends on where you are:
- Outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (
_gaand_ga_<id>) to tell visits apart and measures normally. - Inside those regions: no analytics cookies are set. Google receives only cookieless, aggregated signals, and we do not show a cookie banner because none is needed for that posture.
We do not use advertising cookies, Google signals, or ad personalization, and we do not send your name, email address, or account identifiers to Google. You can opt out with Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on, by blocking cookies in your browser, or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal (see §11).
2.9 Support communications
If you contact us, we keep the correspondence and any information you include in it.
3. How we use information
3.1 Purposes and legal bases
We use the information described in §2 for the purposes below. Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the legal basis for each is shown.
| Purpose | What it covers | Legal basis (GDPR / UK GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Provide and operate the Service | Create accounts and agents, run the catalog and MCP endpoint, route tool calls, deliver outputs | Performance of a contract |
| Payments and authorization | Process top-ups and auto top-ups, manage your wallet, budgets, entitlements, and approval of spending | Performance of a contract |
| Security and abuse prevention | Authenticate requests, enforce budgets and rate limits, detect and prevent fraud, token misuse, and abuse | Legitimate interests (keeping the Service and your funds secure); legal obligation where fraud rules apply |
| Records and compliance | Maintain the ledger and audit trail; meet accounting, tax, and legal obligations; respond to lawful requests | Legal obligation; legitimate interests |
| Support and service communications | Respond to you; send approval requests, receipts, and notices about your account or changes to the Service | Performance of a contract; legitimate interests |
| Reliability and improvement | Monitor, debug, and improve performance, pricing, and the quality of catalog services using aggregated or pseudonymised telemetry | Legitimate interests |
| Website analytics | Understand how askvalet.ai is used (§2.8) | Legitimate interests outside the EEA/UK/Switzerland; cookieless aggregated measurement only inside those regions |
3.2 Automated decisions
The Service approves purchase requests automatically when they fall within a budget you set, and holds the rest for your decision. That automation runs on rules you configure for your own agents; we do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
3.3 No marketing use without consent
We do not use your information for third-party marketing, and we will not send you marketing email unless you opt in. Service and transactional messages (approvals, receipts, security and policy notices) are not marketing.
4. Payment information and Stripe
Card payments are processed by Stripe. When you add funds or enable auto top-up, your card details are collected and stored by Stripe under its own terms and security controls; we do not receive or store your full card number. We receive and store payment identifiers, amounts, status, and the customer and payment-method references needed to operate your wallet and reconcile transactions. To show you which card is on file, we retrieve its brand and last four digits from Stripe when you view it; we do not keep a copy. Stripe may also use transaction data independently for fraud prevention and compliance, as described in Stripe’s privacy policy.
6. Data retention
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Account, agent, and configuration records | While your account is active, then deleted or pseudonymised within 90 days of closure, except as needed below |
| Wallet ledger and audit log | Append-only. Retained for 7 years after account closure as a financial and security record; not edited or deleted in the ordinary course. On deletion requests, identifiers are pseudonymised where the law allows but the entries themselves are kept |
| Purchase requests and approvals | 7 years after account closure, with the ledger |
| Tool-call telemetry (BigQuery) | 365 days, then automatically deleted |
| Operational logs (Cloud Logging) | 30 days on a rolling basis |
| Database backups | Up to 14 weeks on a rolling basis. Data deleted from the live database can remain in backups until they expire |
| Payment records held by Stripe | Per Stripe’s retention policies and applicable financial regulation |
| Support correspondence | 3 years after the matter is closed |
| Website analytics (Google Analytics) | 14 months, per the property’s configured retention |
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect information, including HTTPS in transit, encryption at rest provided by our cloud platform, one-way hashing of agent access tokens, default-deny database access through a server-side admin path, scoped service-to-service authentication, secret management, and role-based access with audit logging for staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law. Report security concerns to security@askvalet.ai.
8. Your rights and choices
8.1 How to exercise them
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email privacy@askvalet.ai from the email address on your account; we verify requests by confirming control of that address and, where needed, by asking you to confirm details of your account. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf if they provide proof of your written authorization. We aim to respond within 30 days and will tell you if we need longer. If we decline a request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our response.
You can also act directly in the dashboard: manage and delete agents, rotate or revoke tokens, change or disable auto top-up, and export your transaction history. To close your account, email support@askvalet.ai.
8.2 California residents
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) may give you additional rights. In the preceding 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information, for the purposes in §3 and from the sources in §2: identifiers (email, user ID, IP address); commercial information (wallet, ledger, purchases, and entitlements); internet or network activity (site usage, tool-call metadata, logs); approximate geolocation derived from IP address; and the contents of support correspondence. We disclose these categories to the service providers in §5.1 and, for inputs your agents submit, to the catalog-service providers in §5.2. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of anyone under 16. You have the right to know, to delete, to correct, to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we collect none beyond account credentials), and to non-discrimination. Exercise them as described in §8.1.
8.3 EEA, UK, and Swiss residents
You have the rights in §8.1 under GDPR, UK GDPR, or the Swiss FADP, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where we rely on legitimate interests (§3.1), you may object, and we will stop unless we have compelling grounds to continue.
8.4 Limits
Some records, notably the wallet ledger and audit log, are retained for financial and security integrity and may persist (in pseudonymised form) after deletion of other data, as permitted by law (§6).
9. International data transfers
We are based in the United States and process data on Google Cloud infrastructure in a U.S. region, with Stripe and other providers processing data in the United States and elsewhere. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. For transfers of personal information from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and Swiss adaptations, or on another lawful transfer mechanism such as an adequacy decision or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where a provider is certified under it.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, consistent with the age requirement in our Terms of Service. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact privacy@askvalet.ai and we will delete it.
11. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common standard for how to interpret it, we do not respond to Do Not Track signals. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals: when we detect one, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, and we disable Google Analytics cookies for that browser session. Since we do not sell or share personal information, the practical effect is limited to analytics.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. For material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you in advance, such as by email or in-product notice, and we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy. Earlier versions are available on request.
